What players are learning
Connect serve receive to the next two contacts and a competitive rally.
Set it up
- Place a receiving team on one side and servers/defenders on the other.
Run the drill
- Serve a live ball and play out the rally.
- The receiving side earns one wash point only with a playable pass and rally win.
- Rotate when the receiving side earns three wash points.
What to say
- Solve the first contact together.
- Transition immediately after passing.
- Use three contacts whenever possible.
