What players are learning
Learn the hand shape and push of a set without using your legs.
Set it up
- Partners sit on the floor about 8 feet apart.
- One ball per pair.
Run the drill
- Set the ball back and forth while seated.
- If it drops, catch it and start again.
- Work toward 20 consecutive sets.
What to say
- Make a window above your forehead.
- Push the ball, do not slap it.
- Both hands finish pointing at your target.
How to score it
20 consecutive sets.
Make it harder
- Move to kneeling, then standing.
- Watch for the same hand shape.
