Quick look

What players are learning
Learn what each of the three contacts in a rally is actually for.
Set it up
- Three players in a line: tosser, passer, catcher.
- One ball per group.
Run the drill
- The tosser tosses to the passer.
- For the first round, the passer passes to the catcher, who catches it.
- After the first round, the target sets instead of catching so the ball stays live.
- Everyone rotates one spot after each rep.
What to say
- Pass it so your teammate does not have to move.
- High passes give your team time.
- Know your job before the toss.
How to score it
15 catchable passes as a group before anyone sits.
Make it harder
- Catcher must set instead of catch, then the third player catches.
