Match priorities
5 minutes
- Name one skill priority and one team-behavior priority.
- Avoid adding new systems.

Target Serving
10 minutes
- Use large tactical zones and each player's normal routine.
Say this: In first, target second. | Serve and enter the court.
Three-Lane Serve Receive
15 minutes
- Use likely match lineups when possible.
Say this: Call early. | Pass high enough to organize.
Rotation Rally
10 minutes
- Run the linked drill using match lineups.
Say this: Know who is next to you. | Move after the serve.
Queen of the Court
15 minutes
- Use short games and stop only for safety or one critical correction.
Say this: Compete with positive energy. | Next ball mentality.
Match-day close
5 minutes
- Confirm arrival time, uniform, and the team's two priorities.
- End with one specific reason the team is ready.
Say this: No last-minute overload.
Coach throughout
- Do not install new systems before a match.
- Use likely lineups while still keeping everyone active.
- Finish on a successful, confident repetition.
Make it fit
- If players look tired, shorten the final game and add calm serving.
- For a first match, spend five extra minutes walking through rotations.
- With half a court, run rotation positions without a live opposing side.
